 RULES, REGULATIONS AND CLASS CONDITIONS

 

  1. ALL CLASSES MUST BE PRE-ENTERED AND POSTMARKED BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2004.   Please send entries to :

2.     The show is conducted under ADS (American Driving Society) rules.

3.     All horses must have a current Rabies Certificate, and Negative Coggins Certificate dated 2003/2004 is required before horses are unloaded.  Mail copies with your entry.  Copies become property of the show.

4.     EVERYONE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND YOUNGER as of January 1, 2004 MUST WEAR AN APPROVED SEI/ATTM HELMET.

5.     No refunds, no exceptions.

6.     There will be up to 6 placings per class.

 7.      Age will be determined by January 1st.

 8.      There will be 5 divisions.   You may not cross enter divisions.

The divisions are as follows:

A)                 Pony/Miniature Horse  (Must be under 14.2 hands to enter this division)

B)                  Maiden Driver  (Exhibitor must be 19 yrs and over, 1st year showing)

C)                  Junior Driver (Exhibitor must be 18 yrs and under)

D)                  Open Horse

E)                   Draft

 

 9.      Anyone removing the bridal while horse/pony is between shafts will be immediately disqualified!

10.   Judges decision is Final!

11.   All patterns will be posted day of show.

12.   If a tack change is needed please let us know and 3 minutes will be allowed.

13.   Stabling is available.  You supply your own bedding and feed.  Please clean your stalls to the bare ground before you leave.    Stall Fee is $20

14.   Camping is available $35 fee.

15.   Once the gate is closed no one will be allowed to enter the class.

16.   If you need to scratch please let the show secretary know at least 2 classes in advance.

17.   An office fee of $5.00 will be charged per horse

18.   Stall cleaning deposit is required.  A separate (from the entry fees) check for $10.00 made out to CVMHA.  It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to get show management to check their stalls upon departure.  Deposit checks will be cashed if stalls have not been checked clean before leaving.  When the stalls are checked and approved the $10 check will be torn up or given back.

19.   If you have stabling preferences, please state these on the entry form:  we will do our best to accommodate.   All horses staying overnight must be stables.

20.   Parking areas will be defined, please restrict parking to these areas.

21.   Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

22.   A champion will be awarded for each division.

23.   Ringside assistance in ANY Class after the gate closes may be grounds for disqualification.

24.   Last, but not least, let’s enjoy the show with friends, old and new, two and four legged.
